Sculptra® Aesthetic works by stimulating your skin’s own natural collagen production to help increase facial volume that has been lost due to aging. It yields a very natural result by working subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. It can be injected into any area that may have been affected due to volume loss, but is most commonly used to treat deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), also called “smile lines", lines framing the mouth (marionette lines), and chin wrinkles.

Unlike dermal fillers, results are not immediate. Sculptra aids in the production of your own collagen in response to the material injected. This process takes about 6 months, however, results can be seen sooner. Over the course of your treatments, you will notice gradual changed and a rejuvinated appearance. In order to maintain your result, one vial of Sculptra per year is the standard required maintenance regimen.
